Brian Andrews, MD, is the founder of Pacific Neurosurgery and Chairman of the California Pacific Neuroscience Institute (CPNI) at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) in San Francisco. In addition, he’s also a founder of the neuro-oncology tumor board at CPMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He earned his medical degree at UCSF, where he also completed his internship and neurosurgical residency under famed neurosurgeon and friend, Dr. Charles Wilson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Andrews has been voted one of the Best Doctors in America\u00ae since 2005, has been named one of Castle Connolly\u2019s Top Doctors\u00ae since 2003, and has been named a top neurosurgeon by U.S. News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, he is also an author. He’s written two novels of fiction, Knife Under Fire<\/em> and The California Mille<\/em>; an autobiography about his mentor, Dr. Charles Wilson, Cherokee Neurosurgeon<\/em>; and several medical books including Intensive Care in Neurosurgery<\/em>, Neurotrauma<\/em>, and Pediatric Neurosurgical Intensive Care<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
